The disruption that coronavirus (or COVID-19) is having globally and here in the UK is becoming evermore apparent.

If your travel plans are affected by the recent coronavirus outbreak, we recommend that in the first instance you contact your tour operator or transport and accommodation provider. Every circumstance is different, depending on where you are travelling to, if unsure about your cover contact your insurer.

For business owners there is more uncertainty, if you or your employees travel abroad for work, you may find that some flights are cancelled or restricted. You may find that this is not covered by your business insurance. Worse still, if you do cancel a business trip due to the coronavirus you may struggle to claim it back on your travel insurance.
